Who the controller is

The controller is UP 2 DATE SOFTWARE SRL, registered office at Bd. 1 Decembrie 1918 nr. 21, Sector 3, București, Romania, Trade Register no. J2009004894404, tax ID RO25438988. You can write to us at office@up2date.ro with any question about your data.

What we collect

When you request a demo, we store:

• your name;
• your work email address;
• your company name;
• the monthly call volume you selected;
• the language you used on the site;
• the date and time you gave your consent;
• a hash of your IP address computed with a secret key, used only to limit abusive submissions (we do not store the IP address itself);
• your browser’s user agent.

Why we use it and on what basis

We use this data to answer your demo request and to contact you about VoxAgent. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form.

We use the IP hash and the user agent to prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing the data is not mandatory, but without it we cannot answer your request. We do not make automated decisions based on it.

Who receives it

The data is stored on servers in the European Union. Our hosting provider and the email provider through which we receive the request notification can access it as our processors. We do not sell the data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep the data for 24 months from the date of the request and then delete it. If you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it, we delete it sooner.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing done before. To use any of these rights, write to office@up2date.ro.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).
